Death Row Records founder reaches plea deal after missing latest court date.
Who says Suge Knight doesn't take the law seriously?
Knight finally made his way to court after authorities issued a warrant for his arrest earlier this week. He was a couple days late, but the 48-year-old appeared in a Southern California courtroom Thursday (Jan. 23), where he was sentenced to two years probation stemming from last year's traffic bust for driving on a suspended license.
He will also pay a small fine as part of a plea deal.
Police originally pulled Knight over in September for swerving in and out of lanes, and although it was determined that he was not intoxicated, he still landed in jail because of a previous warrant. That particular warrant was handed down because Knight skipped yet another court date for driving on a suspended license.
As confusing as his story seems to be getting, the good news is that he has at least cleared up the latest driving-related warrant. On the other hand, since he keeps getting busted in the traffic, it might be time for him to hire a driver, or just stay off the road for a while.
