Greatest Nigerian Students! There has been positive developments concerning our students in prison. So far, 90% of our students have been granted bail. Authoritatively, 25 of them have been released. Thanks to the Barristers at Civil Liberty Organization and Kings Bench Chambers who have partnered with the Student Union Government to make this happen. We also commend the efforts of individual barristers hired by some parents for their wards. However, the challenge is that the bail condition on the students is high. Most of the parents are having difficulty fulfilling the bail conditions which is why a good number of our students are still in prison. I therefore plead with all the students to continue to pray for and support our remaining colleagues in prison. We will not rest until all our students are out of that hell. Also, we are still calling on the Management of University of Uyo to show a little 'sensitivity' towards our students still in prison.
Aluta continua.. Victoria acerta!!!
