The Bayern CEO has hailed the Catalan's attention to
detail as well as the way in which the former Spain international gets
his players to behave on and off the field
The former Barcelona boss took the reins at the Allianz Arena in the summer and the Bavarians have yet to taste defeat in this season's Bundesliga, which they lead by 16 points from Bayer Leverkusen.
Rummenigge, whose own career included two Ballon d'Or trophies and two European Cups, says the Spaniard's attention to detail sets him apart from the rest of his peers.
"I've never seen a coach like him and I'm about to complete 40 years at Bayern," he is quoted as saying by Sport.
"This man prepares the team until the last detail: tactically, physically, mentally. He has a very clear plan of how players should behave off the field.
"That's what I liked about Barcelona: their players are not arrogant."
Meanwhile, Rummenigge says he will judge Bayern's current campaign on more than just their final medal tally - despite their treble triumph last term.
"You can't make the mistake of relying exclusively on titles," he argued. "For me, the most important thing is what happens in the week in the training camp."
