Mourinho undergoes surgery in Paris

 

Chelsea have confirmed that their manager, Jose Mourinho, was in Paris on Monday to undergo surgery on his elbow. The operation was carried out, to cure a long-standing complaint the 50-year-old has been carrying.

Mourinho oversaw the Blues’ 3-1 win over Manchester United on Sunday at Stamford Bridge, before he attended a Football Writers’ Association dinner at the Savoy Hotel, where the media honoured him.
“Jose Mourinho today underwent a minor arthroscopic procedure on a long-standing elbow complaint. He will return to work tomorrow (Tuesday),” read a message from the club’s official Twitter handle.
