iPhone 6 to Feature 10MP Camera

iPhone 6 to Feature 10MP Camera
New rumors have surfaced that claim Apple's next flagship phone will boast an even better camera than the iPhone 5S.

According to Chinese tech website IT168, Apple will be upgrading the iPhone camera for its next iPhone. The report claims that Apple will do away with the 8 megapixel camera that has been a staple on its smartphones since 2011. The iPhone 6's camera will instead be a 10 megapixel camera, if these reports are to be believed. The camera is said to have an aperture of f/1.8, an improvement from the iPhone 5S's f/2.2. At this time, Sony's Xperia Z1 and the HTC One have the lowest aperture size on the market. Smaller apertures will produce sharper images making these devices more popular for camera-lovers. The report also claims that Apple will improve the lens quality for the iPhone 6's camera and will use a filter made of resin from Japanese manufacturer JSR.

Other rumors claim that Apple may launch two iPhones again, like it did in 2013. Unlike the iPhone 5S and 5C, the iPhone 6 models would not be high-end and lower-end models since the iPhone 5C was not nearly as successful as the company hoped. Instead, the iPhone 6 models would offer users two different display sizes. If this rumor is to be believed, there will be a 4.7 inch display and a 5.7 inch display iPhone 6 at launch. These devices are also said to feature scratch-proof sapphire display panels and may feature solar charging.
