The Gulder Ultimate Show(GUS) is famed for being a survival type
reality TV show. The potential contestants undergo tough challenges
during the selection stages, while the successful candidates who
eventually make it to the jungle face even more daunting tasks and have
to survive the elements of nature for several weeks. For the second
time, the search will be going to Akwa Ibom. It was hosted in that State
last year. This year, the organisers promise a bigger and more
challenging show.
In this edition, viewers will also take part in the search and stand a
chance to win the same prize as the winner from the jungle.
This year, there is collaboration between the organisers and the CFAO.
Speaking on the terms of the partnership, Mr. Kunle Jaiyesimi, Deputy
Managing Director of CFAO Motors Nigeria Ltd, said that CFAO would be
“providing two brand new Mitsubishi Pajero Jeeps to the winners. As you
are aware, GUS is a test of endurance which is well reflected in the
Mitsubishi range of vehicles we sell.”
He added that, “CFAO Motors will likewise provide Nigerian Breweries
Plc. eight units of Mitsubishi’s L200 4WD Pick-ups for the ultimate
challenge towards the off-road obstacle that will pitch man against
machine in the ultimate test of grit and steel.
While the ‘virtual phase of Gulder Ultimate Search would hold from
September 26 to October 23, the jungle escapades of this year’s
contestants would be beamed on national and satellite TV stations from
October 4 to October 31, 2013.
