Ikechukwu Uche condoles with Abuja terror victims

The Yellow Submarine forward has sent a condolence message to those affected in the early morning explosions that rocked commuters traveling to Abuja

Nigeria striker Ikechukwu Uche has offered condolences to the victims and family members of those caught up the Abuja bombing.

The blasts occurred at a bus station in Nyanya, on the outskirts of the federal capital, killing more than 76 people on Monday.

Uche who has not played for Nigeria since winning the African cup with Eagles in South Africa in February 2013 conveyed his message through Twitter.

 “I would like to express the deep sadness I feel because of the victims in the terrorist attack that happened in my country,” Uche wrote.

“I want to send a big hug to their families and my sympathy.”
Many of the victims of the explosion were headed to work early in Abuja when the incident occured.

Goal  urges everyone in the Abuja area to assist in donating blood to survivors at the National Blood Transfusion Service at 39, Abidjan Street, Wuse. Food items and cash can also be donated.
