Inter make Mikel move during Chelsea visit
Club president Erick Thohir was in attendance at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday as the Serie A side target a number of experienced English-based players for the summer transfer window

Inter are planning to continue their Premier League recruitment drive with a move for Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel.
Inter president Erick Thohir is understood to have been in attendance at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night for the Blues’ 2-0 Champions League triumph over Paris Saint-Germain.
And the midfielder, who has started just nine Premier League games during Jose Mourinho’s second spell with Chelsea, is considered a realistic transfer target by the Nerazzurri.
Thohir is developing relationships with a number of Premier League clubs ahead of a planned summer overhaul at San Siro.
Inter have already secured the signing of free agent Nemanja Vidic, who will leave Manchester United at the end of the season.
As revealed by Goal, the Serie A side also maintain an interest in Fernando Torres, but believe a season-long loan deal for the striker could be difficult to secure and have made Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko their No.1 target for the summer.
Goal also understands City midfielder Javi Garcia is also a target for Inter, but the Etihad Stadium outfit would want to recoup the £16 million spent on the former Benfica man.
